 FIRST AID MEASURES

 

General Information Get medical attention. Do not give victim anything to drink if they are unconscious.
Inhalation    If exposed to overheated material, keep the affected person warm and at rest. Move the exposed person to fresh air at once.
Ingestion

May irritate and cause stomach pain, vomiting or diarrhea.

Skin Contact

If exposed to heated material, Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water.

Eye Contact

Immediately flush with plenty of water for up to 15 minutes. Remove any contact lenses and open eyelids widely. If irritation persists: Seek medical attention and bring along these instructions.

 FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

 

Extinguishing media Extinguish with foam, carbon dioxide or dry powder. Extinguish with dry sand. Do not use water jet as extinguisher, as this will spread fire.

Protective measures in fire

Self contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.

Usage Precautions      Vapors are heavier than air and may travel along the floor and in the bottom of containers. Ventilate well, avoid breathing vapors. Used approved respirator if air contamination is above accepted level. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame.
Storage Precautions

Keep container tightly closed. Keep upright. Avoid contact with oxidizing agents. Avoid alkalis, strong acids and heat.

Engineering Measures

Provide adequate general and local exhaust ventilation. If enclosed handling cannot be guaranteed, ventilation and protective clothing must be used.

Respiratory Equipment

If ventilation is insufficient, suitable respiratory protection must be provided. Chemical respirator with organic vapor cartridge.

Hand Protection

Protective gloves should be used if there is a risk of direct contact or splash. Nitrille gloves are recommended.

Eye Protection

Wear splash-proof eye goggles to prevent any possibility of eye contact.

Skin Protection

Wear apron of protective clothing in case of contact. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
