Distilled Monoglyceride is an All Natural and Food Grade emulsifying binding agent. In the wax industry this is typically used as a hardener and binder in wax blends. This is a preferable All Natural Additive to complete your custom wax blend. Outside of the wax industry this product is commonly used as a food additive to improve texture and stability, prevent oil from separating, and to extend shelf life. |

Bread: improves crumb softness, provides fine and uniform crumb structure, reduces staling rate Cake Shortening: promotes uniform crumb structure and bigger volume in cakes. Great product
I use 1% to substitute the stearic in the paraffin wax to make unscented pillars . It does the same job but doesn't make the wax opaque, which exactly what my project needs. You can add it up to 5%.
