The 8 oz Clear Textured Jar with wooden lid. It has a diamond pattern texture on the outside of the jar and the inside of the jar is smooth. The jar is noticeably thick and heavy. The clear diamond pattern has a fun and interesting effect on how the light is refracted inside the jar when the candle is lit. As with most tumbler type jars, heat retention is a factor. Candles tend to burn hotter as the wax level becomes lower in the jar due to the jar retaining more heat as it takes more time to escape. As almost always, we recommend to check your bottom burn profile to ensure that you are getting a quality burn throughout the whole candle burn.
