 Candle Makers Notes:

Naturewax C-3 is an all natural soy wax consisting of soy and soy based additives. It is a flake form wax that has good adherence while also being more heat resistant in comparison to other soy flake waxes. Due to the harder consistency, we find the HTP series works well in terms of getting good aromatic lift. The ECO series are also a good option. Being a flake form wax, with larger candles multiple pours may be needed and/or heat gunning the tops flat to ensure the wax pool can effectively reach the sides. The wax is normally really easy to wick, especially at 8%. Larger loads like 10% are fine, but is more oily in consistency and the wax will be less heat resistant. Dialing in the wick can be more difficult at high loads. Many customers opt to include a very small amount of additive like Beeswax or Vybar to help with fragrance absorption on higher loads and to help stabilize the burn profile for an easier time in wicking. In regards to flake form waxes we find the C-3 to be one of the best in terms of consistency from batch to batch along with seasonality.

 Description

Coconut 83 is a natural coconut container blend that's primarily made from coconut and fortified with natural quality ingredients. Its soft, cream texture and low shrink profile make it easy to work with as the wax adheres well to its container which also allows for a solid, clean finish when working with clear glass. This wax is resistant to frosting and receives dye well when adding color to your wax. It has a great hot throw and its cooler burn profile and cream texture makes it ideal for aromatic cold throws.

    Nice product

    Unknown on Aug 10th 2020

When I first used this wax, I had a problem with the top of the wax not being straight. It was my fault sadly. However, the second time I received a flat top. There aren't any wet spots or anything. Highly recommend. I will be using NatureWax C-3 Soy Wax from now and beyond.

    Awesome product

    CB on Jul 25th 2020

This wax is easy to work with. I’m a small candle company and the price is also fair. I haven’t ran into any problems with it. It’s smooth and easy to bond with scents. I’ll keep using this along with the 464 wax for now. Love it.

    Some issues

    Ray on Jul 24th 2020

This wax adhered nicely to the glass jars that I use but the tops had dips, frosting and craters. I tried various temperatures for melting, adding fragrance and pouring and had the same results. Not as smooth of a cure as the soy 10 wax. Any recommendations for better results?
