Our 10 oz Cali Jar featuring a smooth gloss ivory finish with your choice of a black or natural wood style lid. In low light the jar appears as a rich solid ivory gloss and under bright light a subtle glowing translucence is able to permeate. When used as a candle vessel and while lit, the flame becomes softly visible through the glass, creating a unique glowing ambient effect while also providing a convenient visual indication that a candle is in use. |

Our 10 oz Cali Jar features a smooth gloss ivory finish paired with your choice of a black or natural wood-style lid for a modern, elevated presentation. The smooth glossy exterior gives the vessel a refined premium appearance while also being easy to wipe clean. Due to the heat-retentive nature of this larger 10 oz vessel, proper wick testing is especially important to ensure a safe and optimal burn experience. As the candle burns lower into the jar, monitoring heat retention and maintaining an even bottom burn profile is recommended. Slightly sacrificing the first burn can help promote stronger lower burn performance throughout the life of the candle. Allowing approximately no more than 1/16" of unmelted wax around the edges during the initial burn is often ideal. By approximately four to six hours of burn time, a complete melt pool should develop and continue consistently through the remainder of the candle’s life, helping create a smoother and more balanced overall burn cycle. While three-inch diameter vessels remain one of the most popular container sizes in candle making, they can present unique wicking challenges. The diameter is often too large for some cooler-burning single wicks, yet not always ideal for double-wicking depending on the wax system and fragrance load. However, the taller heat-retaining design of the 10 oz Cali Jar generally performs very well with properly tested single wick configurations, making single-wick setups the recommended approach for most applications. |
