Coconut 83 is a natural coconut container blend that's primarily made from coconut and fortified with natural quality ingredients. Its soft, cream texture and low shrink profile make it easy to work with as the wax adheres well to its container which also allows for a solid, clean finish when working with clear glass. This wax is resistant to frosting and receives dye well when adding color to your wax. It has a great hot throw and its cooler burn profile and cream texture makes it ideal for aromatic cold throws. |

Recommended Wicks: CD Series
Recommendations for wicks based on the type of wax used. Fragrance loads and fragrance types may change wick recommendations. Do factor in the jar height as candles may retain more heat causing the candle burn hotter than normal as it burns deeper in a given vessel. Candle Makers Notes: |
Coconut 83 is a natural wax with excellent adhesion and setup properties. Its creamy texture and low shrink profile make it perfect for working with clear glass, as there's minimal shrinkage which allows the wax to stick better to the container sides. The top surface also tends to be more flat after curing, though some heat gun touch-ups may still be necessary. Coconut 83 has forgiving pour temperature requirements due to its consistency, although optimal adherence occurs at hotter pouring temperatures (190F). Additionally, this blend offers great cold throw fragrance performance thanks to its creamy texture. However, because of its low heat resistance properties in high-temperature environments or outdoor markets during summer conditions can cause fragrance oil sweating or beading. Certain wicks may not burn stably due to high levels of coconut and oil; we recommend using the CD wick series for a more cool, stable, and clean burn. Adding Beeswax helps absorb excess oils while adding stability in higher temperature situations or complex-shaped containers; common loads range between 1-5%. Vybar is an alternative if you want vegan-friendly products that aid in enhancing scent throws. Stearic Acid works well too if you require both a natural and vegan option where most common loads are typically within the range of 5-10%. |

Best Wax
I love this wax, but I love the shipping speed even better. This company is based out of Cali, and I am in Florida. I get my wax faster than almost every other company I've ordered from. That's saying A LOT. As for the wax, if you want a single pour, with smooth white tops, the first time, WITH amazing CT/HT, this is what you need.

A Game Changer!
I love the white color, the smooth creamy tops and the scent throw I get with this wax. i have bought it several times and I mix with a little 444 and beeswax

Coco83 Wax; Customer Service
I started using this wax over a year ago and it was a game changer for me. No more heat guns or temperamental candles relative to temperatures etc. Beautiful clean white candles and tops. My customers rave about my candles now esp the scent throws. Additonally, their customer service is the best I've found. I have emailed them about various wick sizes and jars and they get right back with pointed and thoughtful answers. They were also very quick to get my wax delivered during Christmas rush when I ran out. Thank you so much CCS!

Easy wax to work with good ht &ct
After trying soy wax I didn’t think I would be able to find a good wax. Until I found this one, I’m a beginner candle maker and I’ve had no problem with this wax at all. Nice even burn and tops are so perfect there’s no need for a heat gun! Hot throw and cold throw is on point. My all favorite wax! I don’t even want to waste my time on soy wax again.

Not a fan
I’m used to using a combo of soy and coconut wax and because of the reviews wanted to try just a coconut wax. Unfortunately this wax does not have a good hot scent throw whatsoever. They take longer to cure than blended coconut waxes and have a lower melting point so the wax is really soft. Something to keep in mind- I made the mistake of using this to test wax melts. I do not recommend and unfortunately wasted money on candles I won’t be selling and unused wax. --------California Candle Supply---------- Hello, we are sorry to hear you are unhappy with the Coconut 83 wax. Please reach out to us with the candle making process you used along with the wicks and jar sizes. Please note Coconut 83 like most container blends is not designed for wax melts. Coconut 83 has low viscosity with low shrink to give it easy to obtain near perfect adhesion in glass jars. For tart wax we recommend to use a pillar wax or better yet a tart wax much like our All Natural TW-30 tart wax because they are designed to be hard enough to physically handle while allowing for high fragrance load and throw.

Coco 83 Wax
Having been a huge fan of NW58 coconut wax before production stopped, I am loving this CoCo83 wax as a phenomenal replacement. I add just a pinch of soy modifier and I am getting beautiful candles that have been super easy to prepare and fairly easy to wick with my vessels.
-
Best coconut wax on the market
I love this wax and won't use anything else for my massage oil candles. Highly recommend for massage candles, as the consistency of the wax is basically the same as coconut oil and makes an absolutely amazing skin moisturizer and massage lotion,

Sooo good
This wax performs amazingly on its own combined with essential oils. I am excited to see how my candles come out when I add a little beeswax. This company also has great customer service. You can literally call them during business hours and they will answer your questions very thoroughly. Best coco wax on the market.

Beautiful wax
I am in love with the smoothness of this wax! It is truly luxurious, and works beautifully on its own, or blended with soy. Perfection

Best coconut wax blend
This is the smoothest wax that melts evenly and pours very well with no need to fix tops. Throws fragrance wonderfully. Arrived perfectly from CA to TX in the middle of summer. Will buy it again.
